Question 2005 Civic SI

Well I finally took the plunge and updated my 2000 civic hatch
to a 2005 civic SI coupe (canada eh) EX in states I believe.

This thing has a whole 55000kms or about 30000 miles.

Couple of questions
I have read if I replace the factory radio my FOBs won't work..
Didn't see any mention of that in the DIY section, is this true?

another thing
the clutch on this one doesn't seem to engage or move the vehicle
until about 1 inch from top.
My current one is about 1.5 inch or so and honda told me that was normal.
It doesnt shift bad or anything just kinda use to my GM's ive had where vehicle moves about 2 inches off floor.

Can I adjust pedal so the clutch will move vehicle a little sooner?

Re: 2005 Civic SI

you are fine replacing radio. that was only true for 97-98 civics where radio and keyless were in the same unit. you may be able to adjust the clutch cable but im not sure.

Re: 2005 Civic SI

the clutch adjustment was under the dash, very hard to reach. right were the pedal connects to the cylinder. There is the sensor that needs to be adjusted as well.
