Yay! Just got a pair of RSX seats

Yay! Just got a pair of RSX seats, very happy, because I am so **** off about the rocking seats in our civic.

Just wondering some people mention about the fourth bolt doesnt line up very good, would that be okay just 3 bolt to be install? Because I dont have a drill.... or could you guys teach me how to use my civic rails?

Re: Yay! Just got a pair of RSX seats

go rent a drill from Home Depot.. lol

I'd personally feel safer with all 4 bolted down, but that's just me.

but congrats! How much you nab 'em for?

They've come down a lot in price actually, I'd say $300-350 is more of an average selling price. I know someone who has been trying to sell a pair of EP3 seats for 11 months at $300.

s2k seats are another story, those are $600 minimum.

There's one bolt that won't fit on the rsx rails, you need to drill it out larger and it'll bolt right in.

Re: Yay! Just got a pair of RSX seats

yeah dont bother trying to swap rails or anything, just drill the fourth hole a bit bigger so it lines up. its alot harder to make different rails fit the seat. drills are very cheap or you can even use a metal file if you have patience. prolly wouldnt even take more than 10 mins.

Re: Yay! Just got a pair of RSX seats

Haha if your having trouble I've heard that you can make the unmodified rsx rails work by having someone sit in the seat to force them down.

Re: Yay! Just got a pair of RSX seats

lol, seriously.. just rent a drill from somewhere and call it good. Or see if a shop will do it for free.. or ridiculously cheap.

But really, $250 for the pair is still a damn good price
