Soldered Power Window bulb

I am trying to change the bulb that is out in my powered mirror switch. They want $25 at the dealer for the switch and dont sell the bulb seperate. I already de soldered it and I just need to find out what kind of bulb it is.

Re: Soldered Power Window bulb

convert your stuff to LED! Lol.. you're halfway there already, so might as well, right?
http://www.ledautomotive.com/guide.php?id_cms=54

some 3mm or SMD LEDs and some SMT 470ohm resistors and your're set. A supply of 26ga solid wire is good to have, too

as for the real bulb size, got nothing for ya.. sorry.

Re: Soldered Power Window bulb

When mine died I sacrificed a similar bulb size neo wedge bulb and soldered it in place. Just uncoiled the 2 solid wire leads and it came out of the base easily. Sadly I don't remember which part # I used.

Radio Shack has some "grain of wheat" bulbs that may work. You have to test the brightness 1st.
