Blackout headlight housing with parking light on
I was wondering can anyone post up pictures of yours cars with blackedout headlight with parking light on and off. I just want to see what it will look like cause i am thinking about blacking out my headlight housing next weekend and wants to see what they'll look like with parking lights on and off. I dont know how it will look on a shoreline mist metallic car.
Also should I paint parking light black or leave it(circled in red in picture) and just paint the chrome housing? Post pics please. Thanks

leave it chrome, otherwise you will have very low light output. you might be able to get away with using a brighter w5w bulb or higher tho. it just wont reflect. or make a nice led bulb instead, it shoots light forwards.

what color white or amber? alot of place sell premade led bulb you just swap in, which is easier but they dont last very long due to poor quality. check around autolumination.com and also for amber autozone has some pretty nice ones made by jamstrait with 4 leds.

if you want white, there is a reliable led replacement called luxer1 with wite leds. its expensive but uses genuine nichia brand name leds so it will last a long time.

oh okay youre fine using a bulb then too. try w5w size they are only a few bucks at walmart and brighter than the stock 168. but the leds will work also if you want brighter white.
