HELP Please! Broke valve adjustment screws

Just bought a Harbor Freight torque wrench 5-80 lbft. I used it to tighten the valve adjustment bolts and broke two screens in the intake side of the cylinder 1. Looks like I have to replace rocker arms. Please give me advice so that I will not make any mistakes. What might go wring when changing the camshaft? Any DIY instruction for the 2001 Civic LX? THANKS!!!a

Umm.. I'm not totally sure on this one.. but I'm betting that the torque specs on those screws are rated in inch*lbs and you torqued them to foot*lbs. Meaning you way over tightened them.
