CAI or SRI?
CAI or SRI?
Hey guys,
I just recently bought a 2002 Civic LX. I am wondering whether to cough up the money for a cold air intake or to be cheap and get a short ram intake lol. I know the pros and cons of both, but really dont think it will make much difference either way with a 1.7L engine. For those who have experience with them, what is your recommendation? I would rather not spend the money for a CAI if it isnt worth it..
Thanks!
George

Re: CAI or SRI?
if you know which brand you are getting and the price is different for the sri and cai, get the sri. in our car the performance is the same so in that aspect it doesnt matter which you get, but sri are better for many reasons - main one being you can easily access the filter to change/clean it, which is right in front of you. its also much safer if you live in a rainy or snowy environment.
