transmission fluid synthetic additives ??????????

i know the auto transmission for civics have problems now i have a 2004 dx auto and ive heard over and over to onley use honda fluid but what about synthetic additives like lucas would these be a bad idea to use??????????

i use LC20 in my auto trans all the time no problems so far other than the slipping which happened before i started using the additives (about 4 yrs ago). i would not use any other additive tho. as far as i know, the trans problems were fixed 04-05 but im not totally sure. you can still use some additive if you want to keep the fluid from degrading as fast. lucas is garbage.
