suspension help

First off, new here with a 2001 ex coupe. Right now I have to replace all the struts and the cheapest I've seen it go for is 700. I figured this would be a great time to go ahead and drop it (I'm looking for performance, maybe just 1.5" drop). I've been searching on this forum as to what to do and the key thing I'm seeing is to not go cheap. I'm trying to stick around 800-1000, and am trying to decide as to whether to go with a full coilover kit (tien basic) or to just get shock, strut, and chamber kit. I want to keep stock comfort for the most part. Any suggestions?

Re: suspension help

Coilovers would be your best bet for stock comfort I believe. Search around and read what people have said. The information is everywhere. Reading everyones opinions on different sets is your best bet man. Good luck and welcome to the forum.
