Hey all

Hey everybody what's up I'm a long time Honda enthusiast, and have owned Accords, CR-V's, motorcycles, etc. but never a Civic.
So I traded in the bike and got a silver 2004 Civic SE 5-speed sedan with 84,000km and it is a lot of fun- super light steering, clutch, and the gearbox blows away the 5 speed on our 2001 CR-V.

No mods for now, just a K&N air filter and some new wheels (hubcaps were ugly lol). The engine is a little quiet, I like to shift by ear, and was wondering about exhaust options. I hate those huge four-inch soup can tips a lot of poseurs have, they sound like crap. There is a Magnaflow system available for $500, but I am university student, and poor, haha. Looking at something in the $40-200 range, and that sounds decent. Any suggestions? Pictures coming later

the closest site to that was 'Planet Magnaflow,' and they have it for $430 which is what most of the other sites do. The problem is I live in Canada, so the shipping is probably another 50-100, plus have to pay someone to install it, not confident enough to do it myself.

Is there any bolt on exhaust tips that aren't like 4 inches big and sound like fart cans lol? Maybe 2.5 inches and not as expensive?

Re: Hey all

if you want just a little sound I would suggest getting a universal muffler the size you want and do an axel back. Keeping the stock resignator will dull the sound. And the more open muffler will give you a little louder sound but not one loud enough to **** you off.

Becasue lets face it bolt on exhausts dont give any power on the d17.
