01-05 cluster swap PROBLEMS!!
01-05 cluster swap PROBLEMS!!
I just installed a 2005 cluster from a 01 and I dont see the GREEN/BLACK wire that fits in the blue piece, 2nd row 2nd slot, Whats the purpose of it b/c now my cd player wont even start up! and I have an extra white/red wire..??

um you realize that when you disconnect the battery, the stock cd player will say CODE and you will need to type in the security code before it comes on and works right?
you from canada? xtra white/red may be for the washer fluid light. the only other thing its listed is for the hot wire of the underhood fuse box. so if it is this and you forgot to hook it up, you would have a ton of things not working including the car not starting.
the green/black wire is only on 03-04 civics and it is for the auto trans gear selector strip lights. if you have manual trans, the wire is not used.
