Re: emanage quick help please

eManage jumper settings -> www.dezod.com -> click on "Tech info" on right side of page. Then click on eManage settings for D17. This is a diagram for jumpers 1-7 on the eManage mainboard.

www.mohdparts.com -> LOTS of good info. I recommend looking through the eManage FAQ 1.8 for a thorough introduction to the eManage.

Also, if you get insanely high RPM readings with the crankshaft position sensor connected to the corresponding wire on the e-manage cable, switch the e-manage RPM wire over to the ECU wire labeled "NEP", negative engine pulse, or something similar to that. My RPM was looking rather Formula 1 till I switched that out.

I've got an 05 D17A2 (vtec), so my ECU pinout probably differs from yours.

Wire the ignition stuff up after verifying operation of everything else. Make sure your rpm indication works.

www.helminc.com -> Buy a manual, look at ECU pinout, match ECU signals to eManage inputs/outputs. Or, buy a Haynes manual...but make sure it has the info you need (ECU diagram, pins, etc) first. Btw, at helminc.com, you can pay for just 3 days of online access for your car info, if you dont want to buy the whole manual.

Furthermore, liberal application of the search function may reveal a 2k-something civic service manual available for download in 2 big parts...

I threw in the ECU pinout charts for my 05 ex in pdf format, just in case.
Good luck Sir.
