Much Better DIY Debadging
Things you'll Need
Fishing String
Adhesive Remover
Rag
Blow Dryer (maybe sometimes needed in cold weather)
Pen Cap
Wax

Okay so it's really not that hard.
1. Put the Fishing string under the badge and act as if you were flossing your teeth to remove the badge. Be careful not to break the badge in the smaller parts of the bade.(the plastic pieces that connect the letters)
2. After you have fully removed the badges. use the adhesive remover and the rag to remove the sticky resadue left by the badges. Depending how well you removed the badges there might be thicker resadue left behind. this is where the pen cap comes into play. Use the edge or bottom part of the cap to remove the thicker resadue. Apply a little of the adhesive remover before you scrape off the thicker resadue.
3. After the resadue is completely gone use soap and water (or wash your car fully) specifically in the area where the adhesive remover was used. After washing and drying apply the wax to the areas where you removed the bades to provide a shine and to prevent paint from fading.
...Well thats my debadging DIY. It's a lot safer than the one posted on DIY. Hopefully more people use it and it gets put under the DIY. Thanks. and Enjoy.
