Hey! i am new here and dont really know that much cars. But i really wanna learn. I want to lower my car about 2". I drive a 2004 civic coupe, and i keep hearing differnt things from my freind about what kind of coilovers i should get or should i go with springs...I am totally clueless could anyone help me out. That would totally rock! thanks

It kinda depends on what you want to do with your car. Sure, you wanna lower it 2", but do you want to be able to change the height as you please or do you want to have it set with a 2" drop? Also, do you want to be able to change the dampering (how bouncy)?

If you wanna have it at a set height without adjustable dampering, I think the Neuspeed sports drop about 2".. Also, when you lower your car, you may want to invest in a camber kit so you don't go through tires quickly..

Thanks everyone. I will work on the pictures of my car this week. Its all stock everything. I have had it for three years and have been too poor to do anything but tint the windows and add a little sound system to it. I know that there are many difffernt things that can be done to a civic, which is one reason why i bought it, but this whole responsiible pay the bills thing sucks *****. I will most defintally look into everything this week. I appreciate it. Ya'll have a good day.
