hey guys.. just found this board.. mostly for my girl friends car.. just to learn some stuff about it

she drives a 2003 honda civic sedan, ex (we live in canada so its a 'sport')

and i drive a 2007 honda civic Si taffy white

just wondering for some basic info on her car.. or to be pointed in the right direction

1) she loves my car for the auto sunroof, can this be done to her car? any DIY for that?

2) im about to rip out her seats tommrow and steam clean her car.. (stupid canadain winters) , any tips on doint it? like the center console removel?

she has this funky arm rest (witch i think is just so stupid) looks like a piece from tetris.. lol that stupid L..

my Si shift **** was easy to take off when i installed my Short shifter, but she has the 99-00 Si (USA) SiR (canada) shift ****.. and i have no idea how to take it off

any help would be appreicated..

man both of u have some really clean (literally) looking cars. i dont think u can make an auto sunroof. if she doesnt already have a sunroof period in her car, then making one is going to be sum serious custom body work. something i dont think anybody should handle if they dont own a body shop.

Welcome to the site! Love that Si. As far as center console removal goes, click the Shifter and Bushings DIY link in my signature. It tells you how to remove the center console.

Yeah, good luck on the sunroof. It can be done by a serious DIY'er , but we're talking cutting the roof panel, welding in reinforcement sheeting, so on and so forth. I wouldn't recommend it.

buy the kit off ebay ... Universal Automatic Sunroof ... Ull have to change the sunrrof though !!!
