Hi I am new to the forum, but I have been browsing for awhile. I am looking for some new rims to replace my stock wheels on my 2001 Civic EX, and I stumbled across a used set on a local classified, which says they were on a 1996 accord. Now, I know that the bolt patterns are different on the cars, but the wheel is a universal type pattern, and she told me that they would fit. My first question is, will the rims fit my bolt pattern because I believe that the 1996 Accords have a 4X114.3, while the 2001 Civics have a 4X100. Does the universal bolt pattern make it fit both? And my next question is, these rims are 17 inch rims, will they fit ok if the bolt pattern is fine? Do you think there will be any rubbing or anything? Thanks guys.

if they are 4x100 or 4x114.3 they will fit, thats what mine are, but im pretty sure ours are 4x100, u shouldnt have a problem with it, i didnt, as long as the hub size is correct too

Ok, and are there any known problems with tires on 17 inch rims rubbing or anything? The tires that are on the rims are 225/45R17 Ventus HRII tires. Should they work fine?
