Does 2003 Civic Lx Model come with factory fitted Keyless Remote
Hi,

I just bought a used 2003 Honda Civic and would like to know if this 2003 model of civic lx comes with a Factory fitted Remote keyless entry? Any pointers on how to find out would be great..

It became standard on LX models starting in 04.

Its not hard to retro-fit one from a salvage though. I just added one to my LX, works great. Only 3 wires plus ground to deal with.

Any details on a DIY for this? Buddy gave me his 01 remote for my 01, but of course my car doesn't have it installed from the factory.

Remote entry was a dealer option on the LX. You'd have to look if the receiver is installed. It is mounted behind the 12V outlet.
