do they look like these? Regardless of model, remotes were visually same at that era.

I had an EP3 for a while back in 2016 and bought the remote below. It's no where near OEM quality but it did work. Sometimes you had to press the button multiple times for it to work.

Yeah it looks just like those ones except like i said it didnt work how do i find out who did my alarm system because ive read that there was a japanese manufactorer and another i can remember the names of the companies. But that first site that was laid on the page is undercutting themselves saying the remotes are 110 from honda lol from honda theyre 180 thats why im looking for the alternative. But yeah i bought some from amazon like brotatoe said the forst ine didnt work i guess i can try again because that fcc id number is different. Do you think autozone or somewhere could find out? I havent had a chance to check with them because im so busy with work. Also any ideas on somewhere to get a new legit engine for perfoemance?

Re: How to find fcc id #
you don't need a FCC ID to program a remote you bought. That number seem to be to the equipment type. Not assigned to each unit at all.
Either you get from Honda or your car receptor have issues
I programmed on my EX without any issues, but i got from honda
Also, are your remote lighting a red led light when you press? It needs battery. It could be dead...
Engine, please start a new thread on the correct section of the forums.

The one I sent is definitely the correct one for the EP3. EP3 uses a different remote than the LX/EX trims. The other remote you got was probably for the non-Si trims.
