trunk button upgrade?

trunk button upgrade?
recently purchased a 2007 civic sedan not sure what sub model but im guessing base or close to it, not alot of features. possibly a stupid question but the key fobs do not have a trunk release button so i was wondering what it would take to “upgrade” to the better fob/key?
can i just buy and program a fob/key that has a trunk button?
is there something i have to add to the trunk for the release?
is it more trouble than its worth?

Sounds like an LX.
Some have gotten an EX fob that needs to be linked to car, but requires HDS or other means. And you need the solenoid, and IIRC a wire ran up to MICU.
