Dash dims when I turn HID's on

Hey just installed HID's from xenon depot and they work and look great but when I turn them on the dash and aftermarket stereo(pioneer double din 6.1 reciever) go dim. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

It should dim (if the dimmer circuit was connected) when the headlights are turned on.

Re: Dash dims when I turn HID's on

Locate 2 sets of buttons to the left of the steering wheel on the dash. Find the pair marked plus and minus. Those adjust dash light brightness.

You can adjust brightness with the headlights on for nighttime use, then adjust brightness with the headlights off for daytime use.

Owners manual is a wonderful thing.

Any time you install HID's you NEED this!

http://www.theretrofitsource.com/com...harnesses.html

I don't work for TRS, I just religiously shop there for all my lighting needs, their support team is superb!

Re: Dash dims when I turn HID's on

Fixed it. Lol when the lights turn on the radio goes to a default setting of dimming and brightness than when the lights are off. Thank you everyone you are all gentlemen and scholars.
