2014 Civic DX stereo swap

Hi Lads,

Bought a brand spanking new Civic on Friday. I got the DX in order to build it up myself. I gotta tell you, Honda doesn't exactly give you the world with the DX, but its a good blank canvas by which to start. It came with the basic CD stereo which isnt horrible, but I'd like to upgrade to the touch screen version thats offered on the higher trim levels. My question is; is this a direct plug and play swap? I see I can buy the complete touch screen and facia on eBay for a fraction of the dealer cost. Is the car already pre wired to accept it?

How much of a fraction?
My dealer site advertises around $3,000 for the audio unit.

Why go for the stock? You could buy a much better touchscreen for less than the price of the stock, and it will fit in the spot the same exact way.

Was considering having an aftermarket system installed, but I can get the OEM unit for $300 out of a wrecked 2014.
