2006 Civic Sedan B12 service questions

Time for the B12 service on my 2006 Civic, and I am thoroughly confused about the "2" Maintenance Sub Item - which are only three things:
  1. Replace dust and pollen filter
  2. Replace air cleaner element
  3. Inspect drive belt

Now I know that I don't need the first 2, but the drive belt thing confuses me because I'm not clear if by "drive belt" Honda means timing belt, which would also mean the timing chain, right? And the 2006 Civics (and up) have timing chains, correct? So, can anybody shed light on if for a 2006 Civic the 2 maintenance sub item would just be a real waste of cash (if the filters are not in need of being touched by the dealership). By the way, I might have this whole drive belt vs timing chain competently wrong

Re: 2006 Civic Sedan B12 service questions

What's total mileage ?? Last time filters were changed ??

Look at cabin filter... and you will know quickly.

Your drive belt if original is getting old.

I look at mm info.... but have own schedule for service/items.

Rotate tires if necessary.
