Really odd question.

I'm not really impressed with the audio components. The stereo sounds nice and all but the placement of the line in isn't really conducive nor is the sound that great, maybe I'm just picky.

I'd like to install the isimplesolution, does anybody have any experience with this unit and running it through the aux controls? I'd like to run my iPod with this after marked install.

I've also noticed that the 12v powerpoint goes off as soon as the car is turned off, is there anyway around this?

Other funny last question, the specks on my audio indicates its a 4 speaker stereo, but I have 6. I know I have the LX-S, its basically just stock. but I have the 4 in the doors and then the 2 in the front... am I delusional? Is ti possible that they are counting the 4 speakers in the front as 2 because the ones at the front by the windshield are bridged off the door speakers?

My thinking on the speakers is 2 in back deck, 2 in front doors and 2 tweeters in the front dash corners near the glass.

The 12 volt outlets have been switched for years now. It could be changed to constant power with some work.

Yep tonight I figured out the "tweets" are empty. Its truly a 4 car speaker system but it shows that you could put one in there.

I've been thinking about doing some tinkering with the audio system.

I'm just wondering mostly about the iPod playback through the iSimple Solution device.

Have you looked around at 8thgen.com site ?? You might find the answer there to your question .

After I said something about the tweeters being present I read that they are not in LX models (the highs sounded like they were) sorry about that.
