i am buying some PIAA Xtreme White Plus 9006 headlamp bulbs.I want some license plate bulbs that match the color. i know it takes 168/194 bulb. there are alot of these LED bulbs out there and i have no clue which to buy. there is different wattage and diameter as far as coverage,120,360 degrees.???
what should i get?

they are all pretty unreliable. ive tried a bunch and they die within a few months. most come from china and are not wired properly or get too hot from poor heatsinking. i suggest making your own custom lights with name brand leds. also it is really hard to match white light colors. but you are prolly gonna want a neutral led white like 4000k. any pics of the headlight color?

i havent got the lights in yet. the PIAA xtreme white. the are bright white 41000k and have a slight tinge of blue. i bought these from a local shop called the finish line. they do alot of **** there and know their ****. so i bought all my lights there. the site, V-LEDS.com show the license lights at 5000k and 6000k. from reviews, the 5000k is just white and the 6000k have a hint of blue. which makes me confused now. the PIAA headlamps are 41000k and are white with tinge of blue but to get that with the license lights they have to be 6000k.? i guess we will see. the PIAA are very expensive,$70.00, but they were the only lights that i have found that are 100% street legal and stand behind that. i wanted blue but the ones i got is the best im gonna get thats legal.i saw a l
Lexus the other day on the freeway and guy had the violet headlamps. looked cool as ****. not sure if they were stock or aftmkt illegal. i have not seen stock violet HIDS. I work at an Audi dealer so i see these Audis with the HIDS that look awesome. I like the new 2010 Audi's that have the LED strip under the headlights, looks WOW. well i will get bulbs in this week and then try the license bulbs and see, they were only $10, so if they look shitty i will go get the 6000k from V-LEDS.com
