fog light dilema

i have a 2007 honda civic coupe and i bought fog lights and they didnt come with the templates to cut the bumper and the mounting template........i found the instructions online after alot of searching.........could someone please help me......if u have used ones could scan them and email them to me please because i know this website wont allow the full size photo..........and i also need them separately scanned so i know i got the right size........if u know of a website that has them readily available to use please let me know...........thanks in advance!!!!!

my main concern in cutting the bumper is do the fogs need to sit flush inside the hole, or do they stick out about 1/8th inch (lip of the light)?

What kind of fog lights did you buy? If you bought the JDM ones or the ones from honda. they should have come with a template in the instructions. Though I think that template was for the screws, they also should have come with brackets. Do you have those.

Now to answer your question, just cut along the middle of the recessed ring in the fog light covers. The light should stick out only a little. Also make sure you have just a little bit of clearence on the lights that way you can adjust them and they will fit right.

The template I had might also have been for the adjustment hole you need to drill in the bottom of your bumper.

First you didnt say if its 2 door or 4 dor, and the trim level...

There really isnt a template- you just cut between the holes on the bumper. Some cuts go across the top of the holes, others are directly through the center. Here are the install instructions- refer to page 5.
