Mysterious thump in right rear solved.

Hello,, many time lurker, first time poster. Just thought i would register to give a bit of info. Anyone who has the rear thump in the right rear of youre 06-07 civic and cant get it figured out, you may want to check out inside the panel in front the right rear tire beside the rear seat. Inside is a block of hard foam for side impact protection. It has a tendency to become loose and bounce around over certain types of bumps.

haha thank you so much. i just got a BRAND NEW si, and it was doing that. i was pretty pissed off because its brand new and shouldnt be doing that kind of stuff but im def. gonna take a look tomorrow morning

this 'random' chunk of hard foam seems to plague the civic's in general no matter the generation.... Mine was just held in place by what looked to be "hot glue" from a simple glue gun. keyword "was".
