Question Taking off Mirrors...

I want to change out my mirrors. However I do not know how to take off the plastic piece on the inside. I looked at it and tried. I do not want to break anything tho. Can someone maybe explain it to me or maybe post pics?

Put a little elbow grease in it!!!!
It just pops out. Pull on it, only 3 clips hold it on.

YEah just pull on it. Its clips are held in tightly. Then there are screws inside that hold the mirror on.

Oh geez.......it would have been so much easier if you would have removed the door panel first, then that inside plastic piece would have come out so much easier.
