a little trick i learned...clean the old double side tape off then use double side tape again but this time use a blow dryer to heat it up with one side still un-peeled...it will stick like a ma f*cker...
reason - when heated...the adhesive on the double side tape gets even more sticky and will stick better...peace

I got the OEM sideskirts with my car, they are put on like this:
Glass tape -> metal brackets -> side skirts also mounted under the car..
When I get new sides I wanna still try using the metal brackets. If that doesn't work, I'm going to stick with the glass tape because that stuff is pretty strong!

I dunno, I asked my dad for the correct term for it and he said "glass tape" its kindof a funny term!
I can describe it for you though.. I have a bunch of it in a roll and its this grey stuff thats really sticky.. Its kinda like Nutty Putty or something but thicker and stickier.. I've also seen it used on an old set of home speakers.. It was in between the wood and the speaker, then the speaker was screwed in.. It acted as a second adhesive!
