Question need help installing taillights on 2002 sedan

i just need a little help removing and installing new taillights on my 2002 Honda Civic Sedan.

I removed the two nuts on the bolt from behind the bumper (underneath the car).

I removed the screw from behind the bumper (underneath the car).

I removed the three nuts in the holding the light (inside the trunk).

But I still can not remove the light, it seems like something is still stuck underneath the light.

I cannot remove the bracket from behind the bumper, there is not enough room for the bracket to move.

I am trying to do this without taking out the bumper.

I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

Well, I didnt remove my bumper, but I did remove a few clips so the bumper was able to shift down about a quarter of an inch. That gave enough room to take the tail lights out.

Ok, I had this problem also (and I thought it was a waste to take off the bumper), there are two black clips, on the bottom, that are molded to the taillights if you are trying to keep from breaking the factory tail lights at all then this isnt for you. I took a thin SHARP object and basically sawed off the black clips, when these are removed you are good to go. But be careful about breaking the stock screws in the back of the taillight (what I did makes it so that I can stick reinstall factory tails, but I just wont use the four nuts under the car that you had to remove because I think that they aren't necessary). Even with the black clips broken it was hard to maneuver the tails out because the screws in the trunk were in the way; but, I was still able to do it with a little extra force. It took me about an hour to figure out what the friggin things were that were stuck and then I shaved off some of the paint under the tail light accidentally (no one will ever know unless they take out the tail lights). This should do it, and you shouldnt have any problems (just dont screw in the nuts too tightly, I broke one of the screws accidentally).
