there is a place for you to log your oil changes and other work done in your owners manual.

there is no way they will know when you changed your oil... but if they see you are a car nut, it's obvious you changed it very often.. like i'm into cars so basically i change it every 5000km,

That's what I thought, and I bought a pack of washers, but apparent;y on ours (or mine at least - 2k1 lx sedan) it has a re-usable washer that's part of the drain plug. It could be that you're supposed to replace the plug itself, but I don't see why, I haven't had any problem with it and I've changed my oil about 4 times now on my own.

Just save you reciepts from your oil and filter purchase, then enter the day you changed it in your owners manual. When you go to sell it you have documentation that shows that you bought the oil and changed it on or close to the date you bought the oil.

Same goes for any repair or other maintanance, and if the new owner doesn't believe you, who cares? He bought it anyway, right?? And if they don't buy than there just a idiot that believes we never sent a man to the moon.
