Hey Everyone,

I'm a new civic owner and have found this site to most useful. Everyone here is just a wealth of information. I've been searching for the past few days about HID/Head Lights/Projectors and was wondering why there isn't a sticky or FAQ or something at the top of this forum. It seems like everyone has some question whether its what the best bulb is or what HID is?

So from what I've gathered from searching various threads there are a few options when it comes to headlights. You can simply replace your headlight/parkinglight bulb with hyperwhites/xenon and it will give you that HID look. Another choice is to get an HID conversion kit that actually uses HID bulbs and runs cooler and brighter. Finally, you can get other headlight assemblies like the TYC projectors and stick in bulbs. Here's what I want to know that no one seems to be answering all at once.

1.) If you want to go with the stock headlight assembly but want the cool white/blue/non yellow look, you get a replacement bulb. What's the best bulb to get? Sylvania/Philiips/PIAA/Polarg/. Which is it?

2.) If you want to go with the HID conversion, what's the best kit to get?

3.) If you want to get projectors. First, why would you want to do that? Second, if you did, which ones to get?

Hopefully, if you guys can answer those questions, we can make up some sort of mini FAQ and stick it up top. I think that's a good idea.

just read the new honda tuning. its got a huge install in there. 300 more bucks and ima do it too.
