It would probably gain less than 1 hp, still gaining something though. It wouldn't be very loud either most likely if it's just the muffler. Your best bet for performance would be to get a catback exhaust.

Minimal gain. Probably not noticeable at all.
And what's up with people being "rice" with just a muffler. That word is too overrated. Dr5D didn't even say what kind so you can't possibly judge anything.
Anyways...my cat-back actually robbed me of lower end power but my intake made up for it.

The whole catback system makes a nice, throaty sound. Not the high-pitched whine that comes out of the tailpipes of the 1337 ricers.

When you get a custom midpipe do not go larger than 2.25"
Any larger, you will be losing the backpressure that is needed to make the Headers
work effectively. Therefore you will be losing Horsepower.
only go larger piping if you will have a turbo installed 3" is ideal if you have a turbo.
Changing the exhaust system is more for sound on our cars...

Yeah that is true...catbacks are 10 times better. However, if you do get a catback...there is always that rattling noise that you get from the midsection...my best guess is to buy the muffler you want...then take it somewhere to get custom piping done so it doesn't rattle...or if u don't wanna go through all that trouble just get you a catback and pray that it doesn't rattle
