Question custom *experts please*

so heres my plan.........in search for the upper grill of my choice i couldnt find one that i liked that everyone else didn't already have....so i came across this

http://www.tornactive.com/pd_honda_civic_9900_mugen.cfm

and i wondered.............how much modification will it take to make this fit my 2002 2 door?

i realize it wont be cheap....but everything is possible. anybody know how the connections to the car itself vary between 2000 and 2002 models? and if and how much fiberglass work it would take to mold the shape so that it would look factory? THis is the grill i want....except i want real mugen and i don't want the ugly 'mugen' logo top center. any info, links or general "you are an idiot" would be appreciated. wait no,.....minus the idiot part

Nobody knows how this might be done. Where is a car god when you need one? Well hopefully someone can help or i'll be tackling this by myself.

if you learn how to do plastic welding and that good stuff liek from a community college im sure you could do it... all you ahve to do is cut it in certain areas and melt it back together with a special tool... its not that hard that might be a way that could work or you could always go the fiber glass route...pretty much what you have to do is buy it then test fit it and see what kind of modifictations you have to make if its to small fiberglass an extra piece or something in there... I guess that would work... but what do I know im just rambling...sorry for wasting your time

you could always cut a big ****ing hole in your original grille spot, put the new grille in, and fill the rest up with chunks of cat poo

I could build you one out of fibreglass and dr5d's openmouth grill for not that much......i would take a little time (like a few weeks), but i could do it.

Bring it to a body shop (that knows what they are doing) and they should be able to cut an opening for the Mugen grill and fit it in your bumper. Most likely they would have to mold it in with fiberglass so it would look all one piece and not a seperate bumper and grille. Cost would probably vary from shop to shop, but it would look good in the end.
