thats about right id say for a stock DX. i read in motor trend yesterday though that a manual LX is supposed to pull out high 15s or something like that in 1/4 mile.

i dont know about that :\ 12 hp making a car 1+ seconds faster is unlikely.

why does everyone think the lx's have better engines? they have the same engine as the dx, only the ex has the better engine. and as for the times, i doubt that a stock lx could run 15s, but it was comparing the best possible time to just this guy's first (?) track time.

Try launching at a lower rpm. I launched at 4K rpms and ran a 16.5 my first time at the track. I was all stock. If I can find my time slip, Ill post it.

dont feel bad, i ran a 17.1 with a manual ex with intake and exhaust, launching at 4 grand and shifting near 6800 everytime. the only thing i can think of was that fact it was 93 that day and near 115 on the track with hella high humidity.

im trying again this weekend now that its cooler out.
