i juss recently got done a 2.25 in piping with a tanabe racing medallion....i 4got to tell the person who got it done for me to ask them about a resonator....well i got the car back with no resonator....problem is it doesn't sound 2 good when it takes off....is it because the pipes are still new? (it's piping done fron the cat to the muffler....) i then went to wrk and drove it for a while and the sound was awesome it was deep....sad part is it was sooo deep and loud that my eardrums almost blew out....so bad sometimes i had to put up my music but then that started to hurt my ears....i then tried puttin bak on the silencer...wow did that sound lyke CRAP! i love the piping, i love the sound i juss don't like it when i go from 1mph-30mph cause it sounds a little raspy from 30-on flawless....now my question is...i wanna keep 2.25 piping if i add a resonator what will exactly happen? will it make the sound clearer? will it still be loud and deep? or will it soud like it has a silencer on cause if that happens i dun wanna waste my time getting a resonator cause i love it now juss a little 2 loud at times i dun think i can hear....and what kind of resonator will fit? will it soud better? it's on a 2001 civic lx...

It will just make it quieter. I have my custom piping just like yours but I get nothing raspy at all.

no it wont, I got a resonator put on because of a whiny noise at full throttle, and it is still loud as hell, but no whinny. At first you will notice it being quieter, but it will get better, trust me.

Get a resonator you wont get that crapy sound you here anymore and it will be quieter. You wont regret it trust me
