removing inserts in door?

anyone know how to remove the middle grey insert in the doors? coupe..

The part of the door that is attached to the door controls, inside the car.

Not sure if I can explain this right or if I'm talking about the same part as you. Anyways, to take out the gray piece with window controls just flip the tab in the door handle and unscrew the screw in there. After that, you'll need some muscle and yank the entire piece up starting at the top (held by to clips, one at the top and side). Hope this helps, if I'm not talking about the same thing you are, I apologize...

that should be under the DIY for putting in door stero speakers. i'm to lazy to add a link so look it up.
