hood mod

i want to do a mod to my hood. not a suicide hood or split hood, but i want my hood to sort of slide or lay back over the windshield. i am not exactly sure what the heck its called, and (sorry ) i can't find the pics i had a couple of days ago. i've seen them done as i am sure most of you have. i was just wondering where i could get info on what it is and how its done. peace!!

with hoodpins ot secure the hood in place no matter what in teh down position, you are limited only by yoru creativity as how to mount it. hell, you could remove the hinges and just have it rest on a stand when you pull it off if you wanted to!

you could put it on desk drawer sliders and on an old garage door hinge so it pops a foot up in teh air (think lego technic) then the desk draw sliders would push all the way back up, covering yrou windshield.

you are limited only by what you can do and yoru creativity. if what youa re physically able to do is limited, then money and a good body shop cna compensate

maybe have it on a pivot point so it pops up a little, then slides around in the hoizontal position around the left headlight housing or something.

jsut whatever you can come up with! be creative!
