5w20 is already a ssynthetic blend of oil..becuse its soo thin.....its made thatw ay to burn less fuel making it better for gas miledge....its so new that most people jsut think its a basic grade of oil

the manual says that 5w-20 is the recommended oil for our cars, but most people use 5w-30, since it provides more protection. Has mobil made a 5w-20 synthetic blend yet?

I use Mobil1 5w30 and K&N oil filter..... 5w20 is good too, but you know what I say? Big whoopdee doo what the manual says.... I put whatever I want inside my engine. Hell, I know a girl that put 2 cycle oil in her '80-somthing Civic hatchback despite my repeated attempts to explain that we have 4 cycle engines... it ran fine for a little while... then it must've exploded or something... I don't remember.
