What the weight difference means, I don't know. The Teins do feel good on the street.[hr]

I have em pretty much slammed with 1 pinky finger gap with the rear a 1/2 higher.
I have the damper on the stiffest setting.
I'll adjust the damper after I break them in for a couple days. It's only been 2 days since I've had em on.

Any of the typical coilover noises we all seem to have?
By the way, I got your voicemail regarding body shops but I cannot tell you (due to short-term memory loss) who paints kits around the local area.
Sorry bud.
Get some pics up though ASAP!

I got the 16x7 Rota Slipstreams which should be on my car next week. I would have installed them at the same time, but due to modacar sending me the wrong tire sizes, I have sent them back for refitting.
I am hearing a little bit of the squeeks at very low (5mph) corners, but other than that, these are like stiffer stock springs... and Corollas seem tall on the freeway!

Anyway, to answer your question... Less weight up front (6 pounds total) and more weight in back (2 pounds total) is going to do very little to help make the car's handling neutral in the corners, but it'll help nonetheless. Our cars have a 60/40 front/rear weight distribution, so the closer you can get that to 50/50 the better your handling will be in the corners. Not true for drag racing though. With drag racing you want as much weight as possible up front since we have a FWD car.
Anyway, to get more technical with the neutral thing... You can do other things to make your car neutral in the corners. Any stock Civic has some understeer, so a stiffer front sway bar would help for example. A wider wheelbase in the front would help as well. Wider tires up front would also help. All of these would help to keep the front planted during a turn thereby getting rid of the understeer. You need to balance this out though 'cause a 60/40 weight distribution isn't that far off from 50/50.
