12 Volt Outlet Problem

Hey...I was installing LED Windsheild washers on my car and I decided to hook them up to my 12 Volt outlet. Anway...I screwed it up and now I have a small prob. I hooked the LED's up to my batt. and now my 12 volt won't work...i cut the wire and then reconnected it but no dice. I was wondering if maybe i burnt the fuse or something else...any idea of where the fuse is or any other way to fix it? I need to fix it for my Valentine One detector...thanks - e-mail me at davemattfan5@comcast.net

check the fuse first.
fuse for 12volt outlet is under your steering wheel.
im pretty sure its fuse problem. you will need 15a(fuse).
by the way theres extra fuses under the hood in fuse box.
