Fog light faulty

It all started a few months ago, when I took my bumper off to switch to a louder horn. In doing so, my friend partially disconnected the connection to the foglights and when we were finished with the job, we re-attached the wires. A week or two after this, the fog light began to not work. If I turned the switch on, only the one that we didnt screw around with would go on. However, if you would tap the faulty one a few times, it would go on and stay on until i turned the switch off. Now just today, i got really pissed off about this and decided to see what was up. I took the foglight out, unscrewed it into the two halves, and it was pretty humid and wet inside. I took a hairdryer and made it competely dry. Now I turn it back on and the same exact thing happened. I've pretty much tried everything short of getting a new bulb. Should I consider buying a new bulb? Has anyone else had the "tap to go on" problem? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

You dont need a new bulb unless it is blown other wise it should work. Look at the blubs and you should see it black like it blew up or split connectors likes when a fuse blows. It might be the connection to the fog light. Make sure its a good connection. It could be the wires though since you had water in there.

Try switching the bulbs and see what happens,
check your wires too.....

It's going to be a wiring problem, assuming that the filament in the bulb is still connected.

Filament = The curly looking wire inside the bulb that connects the 2 prongs
