The only bars that fit with CAIs are the Neuspeed and the DC Sports. Otherwise there is no way around it. Get the neuspeed one... it's the best you can get.

i think that bar is the bomz one, btw
EDIT: now i'm not too sure, the more i look at it. the outside isn't blue like those ebay type r ones, but it doesn't quite look the the bomz bar

if i were you i wouldn't do that
changing the way the strutbar sits can make it pretty useless
and if the intake and strutbar are that close the vibrations from the engine will rub them together

I think the tilt makes the strut bar not effective, but wahtevers.. haha
(NOT my car)
Sure, for a $20 bar shipped to your house, it does it job. The clearance is about .5 inch, so dont stress. There are scratch marks but that is before I tilted it. not effective? There is less stress on the body of the car. With the ebay front/rear and the Aerospeed floor bar, I feel every pebble on the road. Lowering the tire pressure will help dampening the ride, but sacrifice cornering ability?
The front bar was the third thing I got right after the Eibach Sportlines. My car oversteered a lot more, but handled just as well. I could feel the car wondering on the road, esp with the NEX coils. My car got unpredictable on the highway so I ordered the rear bar for $20. I knew exactly where my car was gonna go over every bump. Now with the floor bar, my tires started to whine a lot more. With the stock settings on the Tein Flex, there was too much weight being thrown on the front tires. I guess I should get better tires, but the ones I have now have more than 60%. So, I lowered the rear. Taking out two perches made my car oversteer too much. Now I have two of the perches(two out of the three) and its balanced, but could be better. Riding without the rear bar and floor brace for about a year has loosened my car quite abit. I use to be able to take the 92 El Camino Real South ramp at 60 with my front strut bar and eibachs. With the NEX, my car was always to low and the tire would rub on the front fender walls. I finally lowered the rear on it like I did with the Flex's and it handle a lot better. But when I had the NEX, I got my Rims at the time and full tire potential. I was planning on getting 17X8 tires but that would call for a 5 lug conversion. 7.5 inches is the widest for our 4x100 lug pattern. Finding a crashed RSX and gafting the suspension and brakes would be nice. But currently, my parents are paying for my car and have been for the past 7 months. I changed jobs about 4 times and was tending full time to my girlfriend. Remember when I started working on my interior, oh lets say last June? Still not done, but I have the glue and just need the vinyl. Well, anyways I want to take the burden off my parents and do not want to make car payments. I was thinking a JDM EG would be nice with a spoon 1.6/1.8 N1 engine. That or a Panda Trueno or 180 fastback or 240 fastback. An S14 would mean making payments. Finding a junked 240 with the cabin and rear intact and importing an S15 front end runs to be about the price of our cars brand new. I would have loved that car. And EG is looking good in my future. Now, I have to buy some vinyl and go to Kreative Designs and get my dashboard done and maybe the seats. Stock shocks and putting the stock springs back in too.
Who hear would pay $1300 for some broken in Tein Flex's? Hey, my front/rear strut bar and floor bar cost as much as my DC Sports rear lower tie bar. I have Angel eyes for sale. $100 bucks plus shipping. Too much caffiene for me. Watching Initial D and trying to do some homework. What a night.
Edit: Need some sleep, I had trouble reading what I wrote, but who says that is not normal?

Alright i didn't read ASWzero's post cause it was too long
I have the front and rear generic struts cause i didn't see myself spending a 100 bucks for a piece of metal.
But to answer your question it will fit with some muscle. And it doesn't matter how it sits as long as its not loose(which it wont be)
Either you can bend the brackets with the strut bar off or leave them on and bend them with muscle.....When the left side is on tilt the bar forward like in the pic and Slowly pull it forward to start bending dont pull too far...Now take the left side off and put the right side on and Bend this side same way as the left side...With enough muscle the thing will fit and its def enough clearance......I notice a big difference with these bars...I give them a
for price and good quality
