Will upgrading the headlight harness make my headlights any brighter? I did a search on the Web and found some sites where people reported that just by upgrading the headlight harness their existing light bulbs improved in light output.

i dont think it would seeing how whether its a 16 guage or 0 guage, the same amount of power is going through it. it would of course allow you to safely upgrade to a higher wattage bulb tho. i'm running like 100/90w or so on stock harness and its been fine for a yea now..

i want to run brighter bulbs too i was wondering should i set up a relay? what type of bulbs are u running?

I agree with VNlilMAN. I don't see how it would make your heads brighter, but perhaps they WILL protect the wiring when using higher wattage. I am running 100/80 on stock harness as well, just gunmetalled my heads last night and inspected my harnesses and wiring - still perfect!
