changing oil
This has probably been touched on before but does anyone like me change their own oil and find it is very hard to do on a 2002 lx.The filter is hidden behind the engine and tucked in so it is very hard to reach.I would like some ideas on how to change it without using ramps or jack stands. There is no room to squeeze under given the height of our cars.Is it possible to do without ramps or jackstands?Last time I had to remove the drivers side tire just to get an arm in there.I would like to here everybodies ideas on how they change their oil.
I spent 1425 points to do this.

i dont know any shortcuts... i always use my ramps tho. u can use a latex glove to take the filter off by hand- its way to hard to try to fit any tools in there. they also sell a small little rubber cub that u can use to grab the tiny filter. Fram makes this little do-hicky that u attach to the oil pan drain- its like a quick change deal. all u do is attach the 6" hose it comes with to the special plug it comes with, the hose has a pin in the attachment that opens the valve in the plug to release the oil without using any tools. This can save u from getting hot oil all over your hands too

I have a EX and the filter is easy to reach from under the car, I bought a $3 oil filter cap wrench from Discount Auto Parts, its the type that connects to your 3/8 rachet. It works wonderfully, I buy my oil filters from Handa Assories.com and just took one to the parts store and found a oil filter cap wrench take fit perfectly. Its just like the one Handa sells but about $15 cheaper.
