resetting ECU ?

k, while searching this site it mentions to either disconnect the battery or pull out the 7.5 amp fuse to reset the ECU here and here and many other threads. But over here it says to remove the ECU AND Hazard fuses or else it would not completely reset. So is this right and okay to do?

I think the battery will do it.
No need for the fuse.

At least it does on my car.

It can be done either way. If you disconnect the battery, you are disconnecting power to everything in your car. If you pull the 7.5a fuse labeled F.I ECU it will only reset your ecu, this means that you will not have to RE-program your radio and anything else running 12v (lo-jack). It's just easier.

Use the fuse map under the cover and pull he fuse. It's easier to pull the fuse so you don't have to reprogram the sterio, espacially if you have one like mine that has like a hundred settings for color, time, E.Q., ect.
