03 center console removal help! *searched...

how can i take the center console off, cuz i took off the pins in the front, the 2 screws on each side of the console (4 total, not 2 like on the 01 or 02), then i took the shifter **** off. Then i tried to take it off, but it would not come off. Am i doing something wrong? Am i not prying it hard enough or is there hidin screws?

You need to pop off the piece around the emergency brake. Then you will see two screws holding the console down right behind the shifter. Unscrew those, and your console should come out.

wrap a thin towel or rag around the a flat-tip screwdriver, then stick it in there and pop it out. It will pop out, just be careful not to scratch anything.

actually if you're just trying to replace the shiftboot, just unscrew the ****, put your fingers on the bag, and just pull from the top..

it'll feel like you're breaking it.. but you're not.
