Reverse Indiglo Problem...
Hey,
I bought Reverse Indiglo Gauges and installed them. Everything worked fine and they look great. My mph and gas gauge was a little crooked though. I took everything apart again, and moved the mph and gas gauge around so it was in the right position. I moved the rpm and temp gauge around a little too. When I put everything back together, I had a problem.
Around the center of the needle of my rpm/temp gauge, there is a little ring of light that seems to be coming from underneath the stock gauges. It was not there before. It looks like there is some separation from the stock gauge and the black center of the needle. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Also, just so everyone knows, the indiglos do not cover the stocks completely, and there is a small ring of stock gauge showing, but there was no light coming out of there before. When I get off work, Im gonna take it off again to see if I can fix this. Again, if anyone knows the problem or how to fix it, please let me know.

I have attached a picture of the exact same gauges as mine, with a circle around the problem area.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
thanks...

gotta go back in and fix that when i do ill play with the other, good luck and if you come up with something yell back at us.

so i kinda fixed the problem...
it is that little ring around the black circle thing at the end of the needle in the center of the gauge. i know that sounds a lil confusing.
i used a really small flathead screwdriver and carefully seperated the little ring and pushed it toward the gauge face. it was somehow attached to the bottom of the black circle thing at the end of the needle. it made a little *click* when it was back down. this fixed the light from coming out of the hole. only problem was that when i was messing with the little ring, i kinda bent a little corner, and light shows thru a little bit. jus be really careful, or i was thinking you could use one of those long exacto knives, the ones in the shape of a pencil. i dunno, but good luck!
