All you end up taking out is the amber lens not the actual bulb.

you will still have the stock yellowish looking bulb in for the blinker bulb. If you have to have amber for blinkers, some states require it I think, then go and get an amber bulb. Bulb number 7443. I still have the stock bulb in mine and I have the new hyper white bulbs in my headlights so it doesn't look to good at night when the lights are on. I have been looking for another hyper white or blue bulb for my blinker but they dont seem to make a 7443 in that color. If anyone knows where I can find that bulb let me know

Would an amber bulb look ok during the daytime? I want to clear them but I think I need to have an amber bulb (not sure about Florida's regulations on that). I would like to get white bulbs - anyone from FL get a ticket for this?

Ive lived in Houston, TX and now I live in Arkansas cuz Im at college, I have blue blinkers and ultra ultra white headlights, Ive never been pulled over on either one, and I got both as soon as I got my car. I ordered the blinker bulbs off of one of the links I think Partsdirect.com or directparts.com one or the other, they have every single color bulb you would want for your blinker, some might be illegal, but I still have them anyways.

Dont get projectors. The cleared lights give off such a better, brighter, cleaner light then projectors. I had projectors on my car and I sold them because the stock lights were brighter. I have the PIAA 9003 Headlight bulbs, and they are very bright. I have people coming at me at night flashing their lights at me....Because they think my brights are on, but those are my low beams. I have had these PIIAs since I got my car in June 2k1 and they are still going. I am also selling a pair of new in the box 7443 bulbs....PIIA Extreme, so if you are interested in them...Private message me and drop me an offer. I will also be selling my car in a few months...so if you need any parts, let me know. I have a post in the mid atlantic forum with a list of the parts that I have.
