i installed my Revo SS yesterday took it for a drive and had to problems. but today it will not go into first or second gear. its too dark to look at tonite so i was wondering if anybody has any ideas on what the problem may be before i go out tomorrow to look at it.

take the center console out and check for something getting in the way. thats all i can think off right now.

not too sure if this would be the cause for your problem, but then again it could be... did you have your stick in gear when you installed it?

ok i looked at it, and the ball inside looks like it is coming apart. And wehn i try to put it in first or second the piece on the left does not move forward like it is supposed to.

If you have'nt fixed your ss I think the same thing happened to mine. there is a plastic guide that fits into the rubber binding that is around the tranny cable, it has probably come detatched. I had to tape the peices together ghetto stylr to the shifter plastic housing.Hope that helps

question about the revo, should the shifter, where the **** screws on, be able to twist? because i can spin it around. i think the plastic ball it sits in is broken because it looks like it is splitting open.

sounds like your part is broken... call revo,.... they should replace it with minumal probs
