Rep Power: 0 why spend $100 on Revo?
after reading all the threads on the revo ss short shifter, ive decided that id rather try to shorten the shifter myself; considering that's all the revo is (right?). if i screw up, i can just go ahead and buy the revo. So- does anyone know exactly how tall i should cut it? i read on revo's site that it's 1 1/2" shorter than stock. but i dont think thats exact. will there be excess shift boot floppin' around after im done with this?
later on, i might also consider getting a short shift adapter.

Rep Power: 0 i thought the shrot shifters for our cars are just adapters that mess with the length of the cables making the shifts shorter....maybe that's the DC sports one...

Rep Power: 0 I cut my stock shifter and it looks cool. What I did was cut it with a dremal but left one full thread on the shifter so the stock **** will go back on if I want it to. I'll try to get a pic.

Rep Power: 0 If you search "revo" on the forums there's a couple reviews and stuff on the Revo SS. I would like to get one as well. I'm thinking about it, and from what I hear it's a good preformence upgrade for a $100. I't suppose to take 30%-50% of the thorw or something. The Revo seems to be getting good reviews and I believe your able to add like a DC adapter in there if you want too. I would find the thread myself and poist the links but I'm a little lazy at the moment heh.
