Rep Power: 394 Just installed the Revo Technica SS...
I uninstalled everything and re-installed everything. The spring on the Revo Technica SS was clicking for some reason, so I swapped it with the spring from the stock shifter assembly. When I compared the two springs the stock one was straight, but the one from the Revo was kinda crooked. However, when I swapped them the clicking went away in both shifters. Go figure!
I greased up all of the moving parts. Even though the directions didn't call for it I think it's good policy. Especically since the stock shifter used some grease. I moved everything around and then wiped off the excess grease. Instead of cotter pins I used these stainless steel clips that I bought from www.mcmaster.com; they fit, work, and look good. If anyone wants some then PM me since I bought a lot of them.
There's too big of a space betwean the cable linkage and the cotter pin though. They drilled the hole for the cotter pin too far away IMO. There's this little washer that's made out of plastic and metal that fills up some of that gap. On the stock shifter it's perfect, but on the Revo there's enough space for one more of these. That's what I'll get to fill up the gap then.
I drove around for a while just now and I think it performs better than the Solo SS adapter, but it's kinda stiff. Much stiffer than just the Solo SS adapter. In case you're wondering something: Revo Technica SS and Solo SS Adapter DO NOT FIT TOGETHER! Oh yeah, I also have the KumoSport DirectShift Conversion Kit and the Base RSX shift ****. Everything works well together; this is probably the best combination out right now for our 7th gen civic coupes and sedans.

Rep Power: 0 Well, glad to hear you like it. I agree with the stiff feeling. I got used to it and the shorter throws. Now, I feel like I have a stock shifter again. I bet if I put the stock one back in that it would feel like I was driving a dump truck.

Rep Power: 0 Dang Grey, I thought you'd be one of the first to have that combination. Where have you been? I'm still trying to find ways to make my combo shorter. If you've driven the Miata you know what I'm talking about.

Rep Power: 0 If you wanna keep an OEM **** the Revo SS is a great purchase...if your going to an Aftermarket universal ****..Just cut the stock Shifter..you can get it much lower that way.. I cut my OEM shifter 2" and have a low mount Billet ****, Neuspeed SS adapter and Kumosport kit..

Rep Power: 394 mohawkboom: I'm really curious to see what the Neuspeed SS adapter looks like when it's installed. Could you post some pics sometime?

Rep Power: 0 Grey...it's almost Identical to the Solo SS Adapter..just a wee bit different lookin to avoid copyright stuff.....
Also I said IF you ARE getting an aftermarket **** it's cheaper and just as effectve to cut the shifter...if you want to retail an OEM Threaded **** then Revo is the way to go
